About Dr. Jayasimha

Dr. Shreya Jayasimha is a board-certified optometrist specializing in comprehensive care and ocular disease. Her passion for eyecare and her extensive clinical knowledge allow her to expertly co-manage a myriad of clinical cases, including, but not limited to, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and more!

 

Dr. Jayasimha graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, and pursued her Ocular Disease residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, the #1 eye hospital in the United States. Dr. Jayasimha is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Her interests lie in teaching, co-managing complex clinical cases, and engaging in primary, secondary, and tertiary clinical care.

Dr. Jayasimha is currently accepting new patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Jayasimha enjoys spending time with her husband and two energetic toddlers, exercising, watching movies, and traveling worldwide.

For urgent eye issues or emergencies, ReFocus Eye Health strongly recommends calling a location nearest to you. Emergency eye care may constitute any of the following: 1. vision loss; 2. different size pupils; 3. double vision; 4. bleeding from the eye; 5. Swelling; 6. eye pain that doesn't lessen on its own; and/ or 7. eye pain accompanied by a headache. If you experience any of the following issues above, we recommend that you seek immediate medical attention.

Welcome Dr. Schonfeld!

New at our pracitce! Dr. Jessica Schonfeld has been in practice for 12 years. Dr. Schonfeld is a cataract surgeon and offers premium intraocular lens technology to correct astigmatism/presbyopia. She also performs pterygium surgery. Dr. Schonfeld is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Russian.
